If you are using Jira Data Center, refer to the Jira Data Center documentation. For Jira, follow the steps below.
When you connect Stash with your Jira, Stash will analyze all issues under the connected projects and enrich them with the full solution context. This means each issue becomes more actionable and easier to work on. Developers will be able to:
  • View relevant documentation linked to each issue
  • Access similar past issues for reference
  • See the exact coding locations where work should begin
  • Identify the teammates most familiar with the issue
By enriching Jira issues with this level of context, Stash removes the guesswork that often slows down developers. Instead of piecing together information from different systems, they can focus directly on solving the problem.

Add Jira issues during project setup

You need to be a Jira site administrator or have project admin permissions to create an API token with the necessary permissions.
You connect Jira projects during the Project Creation Wizard in Stash. At the Issue Trackers step, select Jira from the dropdown and complete the form to continue the setup: Jira You can connect multiple issue trackers under the same project by repeating this step as needed before moving forward in the wizard. Once the Project Creation Wizard is complete, Stash will begin analyzing all connected data sources automatically.
